Shawn Lee was raised in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Working for his parents in their family retail business, Shawn learned the value of hard work at an early age. He later received his Bachelor of Science degree from Appalachian State University. Shortly after graduating, Shawn was recruited by Financial Independence Group, one of the nation’s largest independent financial consulting firms. For nearly a decade, Shawn has trained and counseled hundreds of advisors to assist their clients with wealth protection. He has spoken at many industry events on the benefits of using “Safe Money Strategies” and is recognized as an industry expert. His passion, enthusiasm and dedication to financial education on retirement issues have made him a highly sought after speaker and seminar leader. Shawn’s work with advisors on financial case design has helped to protect over $400 million in assets by implementing safe money strategies. His advice has been beneficial to thousands of families across the nation.  In 2007, Shawn founded Beacon Wealth Advisors, a financial advisory firm dedicated to helping retirees and future retirees grow their wealth, while protecting it from risk, taxes, and other costly mistakes. Shawn is a member of the National Ethics Bureau and is also working towards his CFP designation. Shawn currently resides in Davidson with his wife Amy, and their sons, Jacob and Logan. As President of CAPbenefits, Drew works with individuals, businesses and insurance professionals to solve their benefits solutions. In addition, he trains and works with over 60 insurance professionals to assist in designing benefits solutions for their clients.  Under Drew's leadership, CAPbenefits has grown to be a leading provider of health insurance and benefits consultants for individuals and companies in North and South Carolina.  Drew earned his degree in Business Administration & Communications from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.
