Veterans Day Parade is scheduled to stage at 10th and Tryon on November 7th beginning at 6:30am.
The parade will step off at 11am and will proceed on Tryon and turn on Third to finish

NOV 7- Dowd YMCA 1/2 Marathon- Extra pedestrian traffic in Dilworth & Myers Park areas

Dowd Y ½ Marathon is scheduled to run on Saturday, November 7th at 7:40am. The course will begin in
front of the Y on Morehead and is a duplicate of last year. Streets expected to be affected include- Morehead St, Providence Rd, Fairview Rd, Colony Rd, Selwyn Ave, & Queens Rd W.
NOV 12-15--Sesame Street Live-- Extra congestion expected around Bojangles Coliseum.

The 8K Turkey Trot is scheduled to begin at 8:30a on Thanksgiving morning in South Park. The 8k route includes: Morrison Blvd., Barclay Downs, Fairview Rd., Assembly St., Carnegie Blvd., Runnymede Lane, Sharon Rd., Colony Rd., Roxborough Rd., Rexford Rd., and Coca Cola Plaza.
