Former Charger Mike Tolbert scored the first two touchdowns of the game, and former Chargers defensive coordinator Ron Rivera topped his coaching mentor Norv Turner in a 31-7 Panthers victory on Sunday.
It was the Panthers most dominating performance of the season as they led 31-0 and nearly had their first shutout in four years. It also marked the first time they have won back-to-back games this season.
