It would appear to be the proverbial fork in the road for the Panthers.  With a (1-4) record coming out of the bye week, Carolina hosts Dallas this Sunday on WBT.  A victory at home could bring the Panthers around before hitting the road at Chicago and Washington the next two weeks.  A loss might be "put a fork in them" as far as playoff chances go.
