Since the start of school on Aug. 25, very little, if anything, has gone right for CMS and Superintendent Earnest Winston.
Thus far, 15 guns have been found on campuses and at least four sexual assaults have been alleged by students. Moreover, CMS has made national news due to pornographic drawings being shown in a 6th-grade art class, a student charged with two sexual assaults allowed to play a football game while wearing an ankle monitor, and a student claiming she was suspended for reporting a sexual assault because administrators didn’t believe her.
Then there were the abysmal test scores, and Hoch are lower when compared to surrounding counties.

Winston has come under great scrutiny and despite all of this, agreed to a one-on-one interview with our Brett Jensen, which has been broken into three parts: Gun and safety; test scores; CRT.
