Panthers Training Camp

The Carolina Panthers report to training camp this Charlotte.  That's a first in the 20 years of Panthers football. It won't be in Charlotte for long but it is a change from the routine.

Players report Thursday and will hold their first practice of training camp on Friday evening at Bank of America Stadium. Gates open at 5 PM, with practice getting underway around 6:30 PM. The practice will include individual drills as well as seven-on-seven, special teams and team periods. It will be the first time that Fan Fest has been held on a Friday and give fans a chance to see the new renovations.

The main reason for the schedule change is the August 2nd soccer match between Liverpool and AC Milan at the stadium.

And then the players will report to training camp in Spartanburg on Saturday for another special event.  The traditional "Back to Football" practice will be Saturday evening at Gibbs Stadium at Wofford College. Spartanburg will again be the Panthers home away from home until they break camp there on August 12. If you are looking to road trip to training camp, here is the full schedule...
