The Panthers will have a tough act to follow after going through last year’s regular season with a (12-4) record on their way to a divisional championship. The 2014 schedule reflects their success with three primetime games this year.
The first one comes in Week-3, when they host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night, September 21st. The Panthers later have back-to-back primetime games when they host New Orleans on Thursday, October 30th followed by a Monday night game at Philadelphia on November 10th.
The bye week hit very early last season, after just three games. But this year, they will play 11 regular season games before their bye week hits on November 23rd.
They open their season on the road with a division game at Tampa Bay on September 7th where former Chicago Bears coach Lovie Smith is looking to get the Buccaneers headed back in the right direction. The home opener is September 14th versus Detroit.
Some other highlights on the schedule include visiting Steve Smith in Baltimore on September 28th, hosting Super Bowl champion Seattle on October 26th, and a visit from the Cleveland Browns perhaps led by rookie Johnny Manziel on December 21st.
As always, every game will be here on WBT beginning with the Panthers Stadium Show three hours before kickoff.
