Friday Night Lights

After two full weeks of training camp at Spartanburg, the Panthers are ready to play some tackle football as they host the Chicago Bears on Friday night.  On WBT, we will have the Stadium Show beginning at 5 pm with kickoff at 8 pm.

The Panthers will have their first game action under offensive coordinator Mike Shula, who was promoted with Rob Chudzinski's departure to become head coach of the Cleveland Browns.  Rookie 6th round pick Kenjon Barner from Oregon might be one to keep an eye on when the back-up running back takes the field.

Defensively, we will see how the Panthers top two draft choices fare at defensive tackle with Star Lotulelei and Kawaan Short making their debuts.
