Playoff Road Takes Carolina Back to NOLA
Jim Szoke
January 05, 2018 - 10:41 am
Hopefully the third time is a charm for the Panthers, who will try to avoid some New Orleans style voodoo and beat the Saints in the Wildcard round of the NFC playoffs.
New Orleans beat Carolina twice in the regular season by a combined 31 points.
As far as the adage goes that it's hard to beat the same team three times in the same season...not true unfortunately! Historically teams are (13-7) when it comes to sweeping the third game in the NFL playoffs.
The Panthers will have to figure out how to get to Saints future Hall of Fame QB Drew Brees. And that's what I talked to CB Daryl Worley about in this interview.
Tune in to hear Mick, Eugene and me from the Superdome this Sunday on WBT!
