At Clemson University, Ben Boulware was the big man on a big campus.  He earned the Jack Lambert Award as the nation's top linebacker...Second-team All-American...Atlantic Coast Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Year.

All of this while helping the Tigers win the national championship over Alabama, a year after reaching the title game and losing to the Crimson Tide.

Now, Boulware is starting all over again.

An undrafted rookie, the odds are typically long for a player to make the final roster.  But number-50 is no ordinary rookie free agent, and his goal is to not just make the team, but to eventually crack the starting line-up.

I wouldn't bet against him.  He practices every day with the intensity of a college walk-on trying to earn a scholarship.

You can listen to my interview with the Anderson, SC native and judge for yourself.
